By Nicky Appleby, this large vase is split into two sections. The base is unglazed, but bears Sgraffito decorations through oxides depicting standing stones and a mythic serpent. The top half is glazed simply in white with dashes of blue evocative of rain. The rim features a cutout from which the 'rain' pours. Standing a mighty 29cm tall and 15cm wide, a stunning unique piece of art.
