Mountain Vase

Thrown by Nicky Appleby and engraved by Daisy Reay, random stripes of cobalt engobe inspired an intricately repeating landscape & swirling clouds which wrap around its neck & body, capturing the delicate beauty of the natural world. The interaction of the two glazes on the rim and internal surface of the vase create a starry effect, similar to that of the solstice range. The bare terracotta helps to keep an organic look to the piece,and balances out the blues on either side. Height: 25cm Width: 10cm Weight: 926g
