A combined work by Nicky Appleby and Daisy Reay. This large vase was thrown by Nicky in his signature style, and is one of his largest to date standing 22cm by 19cm. This has then been engraved by the talented daisy, showing the isles on the surface of the sea on the upper section, and a bewildering array of gorgeous sea beasties on the lower sections. Due to a slight issue during firing, one section that comprises around 20% is slightly distorted as seen on the pictures. It is nonetheless rather fantastic, and this is reflected in the price.
