By Nicky Appleby, this tall and graceful curved vase is beautifully balanced. Festooned with decorated bands moving up the body, we see him expressing his thoughts and moods of the day. Thinking of things that flow, and things that facture, both physical and metaphysical. Glass, stone, will, thought, hearts, families, weather. All represented alongside some constant flows of sun, moon, light and shadow. Ironically, the foot ring fractured in a couple of places. It will not affect function and has minimal impact on aesthetic. The vase stands at 28.5cm tall by 12cm wide.
