Work by Nicky Appleby, this beautiful pitcher features many characters, patterns and comets carved into random brush strokes of cobalt under glaze. With the carvings and main body left bare, you can fall into its infinite textures. The deep red of the high fired terracotta body and dark black of the bare cobalt is complimented by a grey and copper handle, rim and interior. At 22cm tall and 14cm at the belly and rim, this striking piece will speak to you over and over.
