Solstice

By Nicky Appleby, this finish is inspired by the impact of light here in Orkney.  The white represents the gorgeous light and long summers, the black the deep dark winter.  But the magic lies in the Solstice band.  This represents the fey light of the summer solstice nights, where for a few enchanting nights, the light doesn't really leave the sky.
